This morning at the Tower Club, The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore hosted the Breakfast Talk “The Long-term investment approach on Made in Italy” in collaboration with Smart Capital S.p.A.
The discussion explored whether traditional private equity horizons are sufficient to support Italy’s highly fragmented SME base in its transition toward global scale, or whether a shift toward more patient, long-term investment strategies is needed to unlock its full potential.
At the centre of the conversation was a broader reflection on how governance evolution, digitalisation, and permanent capital structures could help transform Italy’s industrial fabric into a platform for global champions.
