On Monday 23rd Feb, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore had the pleasure of hosting a closed-door meeting with H.E. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, together with the representatives of the Indonesian business community in Singapore and ICCS Members present in Indonesia.
The discussion offered an insightful exchange on Indonesia’s economic outlook and the wide range of investment opportunities available in the country.
Italy is Indonesia’s third-largest trading partner within the European Union, after Germany and the Netherlands. Today, nearly 70 Italian companies have an established presence in Indonesia across key sectors such as energy, construction, transportation, defense, agribusiness, industrial machinery, consumer goods and services. Many of them are part of Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI).
