On 27–28 February, the Italian Chamber network across Asia-Pacific gathered in Melbourne for the 2026 Area General Meeting — two engaging days of strategic dialogue, institutional exchange and internal coordination hosted by The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Melbourne.
Day 1 officially opened at the Investment Centre hosted by the Victorian Government, bringing together delegates, ICCI members and key stakeholders for discussions on trade, investment opportunities and strengthened collaboration between Italy and Australia.
A key highlight was the panel on Strategic Priorities and Generative AI, where industry and academic leaders explored the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on competitiveness and innovation.
The day concluded with a networking evening kindly hosted by the Consulate General of Italy in Melbourne, offering a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships within the Italian-Australian business community.
Day 2 was dedicated to the Chambers’ annual internal meeting: a constructive and forward-looking session focused on coordination, shared priorities and strategic planning for the year ahead.
A sincere thank you to the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Melbourne for hosting us and all the fellow Italian Chambers for the fruitful discussions.
