From the 4th to the 6th of February 2023, ICCS Executive Director, Caterina Brentari, led the South East Asian delegation to attend the BIT 2024, in Milan.
BIT is the international tourism fair in Italy. The B2B annual appointment is dedicated to the tourism sector industry of Italy and around the world.
The exhibitors represent the tourist system at 360 degrees; in fact, there are sector associations, tourist attractions, DMOs, tourism boards, and even event organization companies, tour operators and travel agencies, transport companies, hotels, but also technological services operating in tourism and public agencies for tourism promotion and planning.
BIT is made up of three different areas to give participants the opportunity to explore the issues that most interest them. The leisure area is the section where the supply and demand of international tourism meet. The BeTech area hosts companies that offer business and networking services with digital content. And finally the MICE village, the area entirely dedicated to the events, meetings and congresses sector.
